I haven't written on this in forever! Last weekend was a good weekend! On Friday, I got subway! I know it's kind of sad, but I miss having my subway lol! Then a few of us girls hung out and played cards. Then the boys came and Mandi had a little too much fun putting make up on Olav! It was classic!! He did look pretty good in all that make up! haha! On Saturday, we made our weekly trip to the mall! I got a cell phone, YAY! And we went grocery shopping! Then we spent the night watching Edward Scissorhands, The Hulk (old version), and half of Iron Man! I do not recommend watching the Hulk, the old version. Ok, on Sunday we went to the beach!! It was beautiful as usual! Stephanie almost got swept out to sea, but some cute Aussie boy saved her! Too bad he was taken lol! After an enjoyable day at the beach, I put stuff on my sunburn, and did some homework.

Nothing too big has gone on this week. I've just been doing homework and hanging out. We did book flights to Sydney for spring break!! I am super excited, but we still have to find a hotel that we want to stay in! We are also planning on going to New Zealand!!!! But we haven't made plans yet. I also have to mention something about the houses here. Everytime we go for a bus ride we will go through some residential areas, which are located on these big hills. The housees just intrigue me because they are built into the side of the hills. It is so neat to look at! It is also weird to drive up the hill and pass all these houses on a slant! I just had to mention that lol!

FINALLY, I get my internet back. I ran out of my one gigabite and apparently my 3 gigabites don't go into effect until March 11! It was very frustrating to not have the internet for so many days, but thankfully I was able to get a gigabite to last me until March 11! One Friday, we went to the Zoo!!! It was soooo much fun! First, we had an adventure getting there. We took a bus to Landsborough and then had to wait a half hour to catch another bus to the zoo. The little town we stoped in was a nice town so it wasn't too bad. Once we got there we took a shuttle to the edge of the zoo and then worked our way down! We started with the elephants and tigers! Eventually we got to feed the kangaroos!! It was a lot of fun! They just hop over to you and you put out your had to feed them! They are so friendly! It was really neat! I also got to hold a Koala and get my picture with the Koala!! Those were definitely the highlights from the zoo! I love my picture with the koala!

On Saturday, we went to the mall, again! We shopped around and got some essentials we needed! I am determined to find a sun dress that actually fits me! It is quite hard to do! I did find a really cute top though, and that made me feel better. I was upset because the guy at the phone store told me that my phone should work and that the voltage shouldn't be a problem; therefore I have a phone that doesn't work! I will probably just buy a phone down here! We also went grocery shopping, which was necessary! After the mall, we just hung out at my friends place. Then some of my friends went to the bars and I hung out with my roommate Yoko! We watched "Remember the Titans"! It was a good day!

On Sunday, we went to the beach! Again, we had an adventure to get there! We took the bus to the mall and then had to walk 15 minutes to the beach! It was hot!! But, once we got to the beach it was beautiful! There was an awesome breeze and the water was warm and wonderful! (nice alliteration) We went swimming for a while and then hung out on our towels! It was relaxing! Then we went back, and I did homework!

My first two days of this week have gone pretty good! Today I had my communication tutorial and I really enjoyed it! I really like the people in my tutorial! I met a really nice girl and we are going to go to a workshop together tomorrow! Soon I will be going to my creative writing lecture and I hope that will be enjoyable!
